Evolving through the days, that’s nature’s way.
Venues don’t matter: hot or cold or night or day.
Of course, there are checks, balances in place;
Love for example, to keep the monster from showing its face.
Us humans though, we broke the chain.
Tethers of might rooted to our brain.
Inside, in agony, humanity trapped by fear,
Outside so free, the beast doesn’t shed a tear.
